Changing course. Women unite to transform U.S. climate policy

In March 2008 WEDO launched a campaign “Women demand U.S. Action on Climate Change (WDACC)”. In partnership with various organisations they hosted an event “US Climate Change Policy: Why Women Matter” – the first event of its kind in the US to unite the women’s and environmental movements around climate policy.

A panel discussion and a strategic session identifies opportunities to work together across organisations and agree on joint actions under the umbrella of the WDACC Campaign.
