COP3 in Kyoto: Missing women's organisations?

It is said that there were some women’s activities and position papers distributed at COP3 in Kyoto. Nevertheless, these papers are not available any more. There was an email send out by an Australian participant asking where women’s organisation were at COP3, why they did not notice the conference. She answered the question herself “The arguments used here are almost entirely economic. Decisions are made mostly with little consideration being given to survival. Perhaps women felt they could not penetrate this masculine perspective – and stayed at home”.
