Women at the top of the UNFCCC?

Some have suggested that a gender revolution taking place at the UNFCCC. As of 17 May 2016, the six most influential positions within the UN process are all held by women, a significant increase on last year’s total of two. Being able to see representation visably changing is an important part of transformation, but the question is whether this might overshadow ongoing structural inequalities.
