With the beginning of this year the new GenderCC Steering Committee has resumed its work. The following new Steering Committee members were approved at the Annual General Meeting of GenderCC and endorsed by the members: Usha Nair (All India Women’s Conference, India), Nicky Broeckhoven (Belgium), Eunice Warue (Kenya), Yvette Abrahams (South Africa), Olfa Jelassi (Tunisia), Minu Hemmati (Germany) and Sharmind Neelormi (Bangladesh).

Together with the Board of Directors, the Steering Committee is in charge of developing strategic plans for the network, to oversee implementation, to monitor and evaluate activities, to recruit and endorse new members, to represent GenderCC and to oversee the work of the international secretariat.

One of the major tasks of the new Sterring Committee is the development of a new strategy for GenderCC as well as enhancing exchange and cooperation between our members.
