Women's Environmental Network Forum: What's Gender got to do with Climate Change?

The Women's Environmental Network (WEN) is hosting a forum on gender and climate change on the 22nd March 2017 in London. WEN is a NGO that raises awareness, campaigns and runs practical projects on issues that link women's equality, women's health and sustainable living. This WEN forum will be a Break Free (from fossil fuels) Coalition event, which is focusing on the impacts of climate change on women this year. Together with speakers from the Break Free Coalition, this forum will be exploring how and in what ways gender and climate change are inextricably linked.

Some of the questions that will be explored are:

- Why climate change is not gender neutral

- Why women aren't equally involved in the solutions to tackle climate change

- Why women are more affected by climate change

- How we can nurture women's leadership in climate change movements

There will be a panel discussion, Q&A, refreshments, stalls and networking. Tickets are 10 pounds and you can book your ticket at www.wen.org.uk/the-wen-forum.
