A new report from the Rights and Resources Initiative (RRI) was published recently and analyses the forest rights in law and practice of indigenous and rural women. Although rural community and women ownerships of land and forests contribute to global development and climate goals, indigenous and rural women are mostly absent from discussions about women’s property rights and development agendas.
