Rural and Indigenous women worldwide already feel the worst impacts of climate change — and they know how to fight it. MADRE is one of the organisations that support their solutions on-the-ground and make sure their expertise is part of international climate policy. Because women leaders on the frontlines of climate change should be the ones setting the agenda.
In April 2017 MADRE invited a group of indigenous women from around the world to participate in the Peoples Climate March in Washington DC, USA. Meet the women and hear their stories in a recently published video here.
