Why the UNFCCC Gender Action Plan matters for Pacific women

At the upcoming COP23 in Bonn, Parties are expected to adopt the first ever Gender Action Plan under the UNFCCC. Its purpose is to support and advance the implementation of gender-related UNFCCC decisions and mandates. 

 

Our colleagues from DIVA for Equality, a network for lesbian, bisexual, trans* masculine people and marginalized women* working toward gender equality, universal human rights, and social, ecological, and economic justice in Fiji, have compiled an article on why the Gender Action Plan matters for Pacific Women and what can be expected from COP23.
