Women, Burdened With Unpaid Labor, Bear Brunt of Global Inequality

Women* continue to perform more unpaid labour than men*.

A study by Oxfam has reveiled that women* spend on average 4,5 hours a day on unpaid work, whereas men* only spend about half that time on it. The invisibility of care-work and of its value puts women* at a disadvantaged position in the labour market, an inequality that is further enhanced by climate change.
